Mr. Hashimoto is a character from "Trouble in Tokyo". He owns Hashimoto Soda and is very strict. When Zack ruins the set of one of his commercials, he forces Zack, Cody, and Carrie to taste his new soda projects as human guinea pigs. He keeps them in a secret laboratory and makes them where blind folds, refusing to let them leave. At the end of the episode, the twins and their mom get to leave, after making a deal with him, and return to the S.S. Tipton.

- Mr. Hashimoto would make guest appearances in another Disney show A.N.T. Farm, which started airing after The Suite Life ended and became a recurring character after the episode IndependANT.
- "Angus' First MovemANT" also reveals that he owns a phone company, Z-Tech's main competitor.
- "FinANTial Crisis" also reveals that he has a daughter, Kumiko.
- He is the only one-shot character from The Suite Life to become a recurring character in another Disney Channel show.
