"Smart & Smarterer" is the 18th episode of the first season of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Zack fakes dyslexia after meeting Bob (who actually has dyslexia) and getting bad grades on his report card while Cody got good grades on his report card. Meanwhile, Maddie tries to beat London at chess, and Mr. Moseby loses his voice.
Story
After getting bad grades on his report card and Cody getting good grades on his report card as Carey tells Zack that if he can't keep his grades up, he will have to go to summer school with no television, video games and food (except for vegetables), Zack decides that he needs a way to get good grades without having to study. When Bob, a boy with dyslexia, shows up in his class, Zack decides that he can pretend to have dyslexia so he can have more time on both tests and reading. - Zack: OK. But before you read it, you should know that there's some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that I got D's in Math, English, and Social Studies.
- Carey: Well, what's the good news?
- Zack: I'm outta bad news.
- Zack: But I'm trying as hard as I can.
- Carey: Then why did all of your teachers write "Could try harder"? I know you can do better than this, and if you don't you'll spend the summer in school with no video games, no TV and no food.
- Zack: (looks shocked)
- Carey: Fine, vegetables. And French fries aren't a vegetable.
- Mr. Moseby: Esteban, I am not rubbing chicken fat on my chest!
- Esteban: Not chicken fat, a fat chicken.
- Maddie: I refuse to be beaten by someone who calls the bishop "Mr. Pointy Head"!
- Carey: Cody, stop picking on Zack. Boy, that sounded odd.
- Mr. Forgess: Are you sure you're ready? I mean, it's not like I don't have confidence in you, but it's more important that you have confidence in you. Do you have confidence in you? Is the word "confidence" starting to sound a little weird to you?
- Mr. Forgess: I'll tell you what. Why don't you come by my office after school, and we'll see what's going on.
